Man killed in Haltiya tea garden, Cachar police arrests two persons including wife

Silchar, June 16: The Cachar police arrested two persons in connection with killing of a man in a tea garden on the outskirts of Silchar.

Police informed that 45 year old man was found murdered in his room at Haltiya tea garden on Monday midnight.

Police rushed to the spot and after initial investigation informed that the person was attacked with a sharp weapon. Among the two arrested include the murdered man's wife, police said. The accused would be produced before court on Wednesday. Senior police officials informed that the case is being investigated.
