Magisterial probe on DNLA encounter

Diphu, June 25: A Magisterial Enquiry pertaining to the death of six suspected Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) cadres in the alleged encounter with security forces near Missibailum village covered by Dhansiri police out post under Diphu police station, of Karbi Anglong district on 23" May, 2021 has been instituted by the District Magistrate of Karbi Anglong, vide order No KMJ-382/NHRC/DNLA/202 1/4, dtd. 21.06.2021.

The authority has notified various individual, organisation and kin of the deceased concerned who are conversant with the facts to depose in writing, orally or through memorandum before Dr. Khaleda Sultana Ahmed, ADC, Diphu for a hearing on 29", 30 June & 1° July, 2021 from 10 am to 2 pm at her office chamber .
