Diphu, Nov 13: A seminar on the theme "Sixth Schedule of the Constitution of India, autonomy to Autonomous Council and headway in the perspective of Assam" will be held by Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC). The seminar on the extraordinary subject matter will be held on 14 November at the conference hall of Arboretum cum Craft Centre of Diphu town.
Prominent personality like former Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, judge of Gauhati High Court Soumitra Saikia, Advocate General of Assam Devajit Saikia and higher-ranking advocate of Supreme Court Vijay Hansaria, Professor of Gauhati University Dr. Noni Gopal Mahanta will take part in the day long colloquium.
Chief Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Dr. Tuliram Ronghang will chair the opening conference and Justice Ranjan Gogoi will convey the introductory lecture in virtual form while Vijay Hansaria will deliver the keynote address on the topic.
Devajit Saikia will affix reflection of speakers like Elwin Teron, Dr. Numol Momin, Bidyasing Engleng, Darsing Ronghang, Rupsing Teron, Horensing Bey, Birensing Engti, Dr. Jayanta Rongpi, Khorsing Engti, Holiram Terang, ex-MLA Dharamsing Teron etc.
