Jorhat COVID death toll rises to 123, 266 found positive

Jorhat, May 29: One more person expired due to COVID-19 thereby raising the total number of cumulative COVID deaths in the district to 123.

Jorhat Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Barman informed that Dimbeswar Saikia (M, 80) of Charigaon, Jorhat died due to COVID.

Barman stated that altogether 266 people were found positive in Jorhat district on Friday thereby increasing the total number of cumulative positive cases to 18159.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that total number of active cases in the district was 1793 while the number of discharged after recovery was 16151 in the district on Friday.
