Biswanath Chariali, April 6: Once again another corruption case came to light after the Anti-Corruption Investigation Branch on Thursday caught a government employee red handed while taking bribe in Biswanath.

In order to carry out a teacher’s pension work the employee, identified as Anwar Hussain, demanded a bribe of Rs 22,000 from the retired teacher Abul Kasem of Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed High School in Biswanath Ghat.

After a huge amount demanded from the retired teacher, Kasem approached the Corruption and Criminal Investigation Department.

Later today, when the retired teacher paid a bribe of Rs. 5,000 as advance to the clerk he was caught red handed by the Corruption and Criminal Investigation Department.
