Raha, June 1: The local administration here has declared four-day total lockdown from today following the number of Covid -19 positive cases increasing everyday.
The announcement was made by Raha Circle office in order to curb the spread of coronavirus disease. Though essential services are exempted during the lockdown but all kinds of shops and other business activities will not be allowed. Industries, daily and weekly markets will not be allowed during the lockdown either.
Raha Circle officer Priyanka Bania has appealed to the people to take necessary precautions against coronavirus and take medicines in case of Covid-19 symptoms. She also urged to people not to hoard commodities. The lockdown will be lifted on Saturday.
