Diphu, Aug 10: Newly shaped Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) Chief Karmindao Dimasa, through a press communiqué, has called for a twenty four hours bandh in five districts of Assam on 14th and 15th August.


The districts are Hojai, Karbi Anglong, Hilakandi to Karimganj. The shutdown has been called from 5 am of August 14 to 5 pm of August 15.

The organization called the bandh demanding a separate state to be carved out from Hojai, Karbi Anglong and Hilakandi to Karimganj district of Assam to form a separate position for the Dimasa community mentioned as " Hiramba Raji Rajya ''.
