Silchar, March 14: In a major development, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in collaboration with Cachar Police has led an operation of cross border movement of Rohingya girls, sources in Cachar Police informed.

According to senior officials in Cachar Police, a total of six persons have been apprehended in this connection. Among the arrested while four are residents of Cachar district, two others hail from Meghalaya and Bengaluru in Karnataka. Further investigation in the matter is in progress, police added.
