Guwahati, March 10: Cachar Police has recovered body of a young girl from a field near her home at Shibpur under Lakhipur sub-division of Cachar district today morning.
According to sources, the girl is identified to be a college student, her body has been sent to Silchar Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.
As per the preliminary investigation, it is suspected to be a case of murder and the incident is being probed, a senior police official said.
