Biswanath Chariali, March 20: Awareness activities were organized among the students on the deadly water pollution at Aakash Science and Environment Education Centre at Hatkhola, Biswanath Chariali on Sunday.

The meeting was chaired by Akash Science and Environment Education Centre President Kheerdhar Baruah while Secretary Ripunjay Bordoloi conducted it.

Kheerdhar Baruah spoke through audio-visual media with a lot of emphasis on student's action on water pollution. Noted science activist Rana Prasad Hazarika explained to the students and teachers community about the main theme of World Water Day 2022- 'Making ground water invisible visible'.

Speech and quiz competitions on 'water pollution' were held among selected students of schools in Biswanath district on the occasion.
