Guwahati, 9th May: Karbi Anglong police today arrested as many as three poachers near the Kaziranga National Park in Assam.
Two AK series rifles along with two magazines, 30 rounds of live AK ammunition, two nos of torch, bags and other items have also been recovered from the arrested poachers namely - Welson Teron (34) S/O- Singh Teron Vill- Borpung, Singh Teron gaon PS-Semelangso. KA, Dereshang Rengma (36) S/O-Shene Rengma Vill-Barlangso PS-Chaukihala, KA, Alo Rengma (29) S/O-Yeshebu Rengma Vill-Borlangso PS-Chaukihala, present address - Dimapur, Purana Bazar, Nagaland.
In an another operation, OC Dillai and staff recovered 32 KGs of Ganja from one Ms. Gita Devi and Anita Rai of Hojai.
