Guwahati, June 8: With almost all hospitals running out of Covaxin doses in Assam, the shortage of Covaxin is likely to ease a bit as the State received 50,000 doses of the vaccine today for 45 years and above.
Due to the shortage, some people have missed the 42-day deadline for taking the second dose, and the State government has stopped administering the first dose of the vaccine to ensure that there is enough for people who need a second dose.
