Assam-Mizoram border tension: CM Himanta reaches Silchar, visits injured cops

Silchar, July 27: Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma along with DGP BJ Mahanta , Guardian Minister for Cachar district Ashok Singhal arrived at Silchar on Tuesday and rushed to Silchar Medical College and Hospital to enquire about the health condition of Cachar SP Vaibhav Nimbalkar who has sustained injury in Monday's clash at the Assam and Mizoram interstate border.
The Chief Minister also took note of the health condition of some other police officials including OC Dholai who were injured in the clash.
The Cachar SP is undergoing treatment at the ICU of the hospital
