Guwahati, Sep 27: A tragic incident took place at Baghbar in Barpeta district of Assam where two minor sisters lost their lives after drowning in a river.
The incident occurred on Tuesday evening where the two sisters were swept away at the Jaljali river by the heavy currents.
Upon receiving information, police reached the spot and with the help of locals they have recovered one sister while the another one is still missing.
