Dhubri, April 24: As many as two people were dead and 13 others injured in a road accident between a truck and a bus, that took place at Agomoni area of Dhubri district on Saturday morning.
According to police, the accident took place on early morning when the speeding bus (AS 16 AC / 0716) carrying a Marriage attenders hit a standing stone loaded truck (AS 01 U/ 9051) from behind.
Kokrajhar's Pankaj Roy and Dhanjit Roy from Bisondoi village under Golakganj area died on the spot while the other injured persons have been taken to Dhubri Civil Hospital. Till the filing of this report the condition of atleast 8 persons critical.
