GUWAHATI, April 2 � The Assam team won 11 medals (3 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze) in the Sub-Junior National Wushu Championship held at Rohtak, Haryana from March 25, stated a release.

In the San-Show event, Karabi Rajbongshi won gold in below 24 kg. Udhab Rajbongshi won silver in below 32 kg. Suman Chetry won bronze in below 28 kg. Preventing Narzary won bronze in below 40 kg, while Jwimwi Basumatary won bronze in below 52 kg.

In the Taolu event, Anwesha Roy won two gold medals in Quainshu and Jianshu respectively. Astha Thapa won two bronze medals in Nanquan and Nandao respectively. Hiranyamoie Kachari won bronze in Daoshu, while Dhirag Gogoi won bronze in Taichicluan. The Team was lead by Tribeni Borthakur as manager and Momi Kachari as Coach.
