GUWAHATI, May 7 � Assam defeated Dadra and Nagar Haveli 4-2 in the National Junior Men�s Hockey Championship at Jammu and Kashmir today.
Dibyajyoti Biswash (2), Nazrul Islam and Manish Sahani were the goal-scorers for Assam.
Earlier, the Assam boys trounced Madhya Pradesh 3-1 yesterday in the opening group league match. Arjun Bhagat, Nazrul Islam and Manish Sahani netted one goal each, informed Assam Hockey Association secretary Tapan Das.
