GUWAHATI, Feb 19 - The people of Assam living in Jaipur, Rajasthan have come together to form a community welfare society in the name of Assam Welfare Association, Rajasthan, to augment and strengthen the eastern Indian culture and unity in Rajasthan.
The society was formed in a meeting held a few days back. The society aims to build a strong base providing societal support to all Assamese people coming away from their home State.
The executive body includes Sukumar Mishra as president, Noel Malvea as vice-president and Gautam Goswami as secretary, among others. This was stated in a press release.
