GUWAHATI, June 7 - The annual general meeting of the Assam Tribune Sports Club was held at its club house in the Assam Tribune complex today. Chaired by president Hiranya Kumar Barman, Club secretary Debashis Sinha read out the secretarial report and submitted the account.
In his report Sinha mentioned about various activities organised by the Club during last session like RG Baruah Memorial State level essay competition, drawing competition along with World Anti Tobacco Day among others. The meeting approved the audited account and annual report. The new committee of the club was also set up in the meeting.
Accordingly, Santanava Hazarika, Partha Pratim Hazarika, Dugdha Ram Kalita were nominated as advisers while Hiranya Kr Barman has been retained as president. Debashis Sinha became vice president while Bhaskar Das was named as new general secretary.
Other office bearers are � Apu Mazumdar (asst secretary), Lokajit Das (sports secretary), Pankaj Baishya (asst sports secretary), Samindra Deka (librarian), Anima Das (asst librarian), Abinash Sarma (treasurer), Chandi Kalita, Minindra Deka, Dipak Mishra, Nareswar Bezbaruah, Sailen Deka, Raju Sarkar (members), Utpal Karmakar (auditor).
