GUWAHATI, May 10 � One of the most eagerly anticipated events for students of the region, The Assam Tribune Edufair will start at the Tarun Ram Phukan indoor stadium, Nehru Stadium campus on Tuesday. More than one hundred top notch institutions from India as well as abroad will take part in the two-day event which is expected to attract students in large numbers.
Many institutions would bring in their latest courses for the students to consider while some would be issuing spot admissions and counselling. A highpoint this year would be psychometric and cognitive tests which will enable students to realise their aptitude and select courses of study.
The event that would be open from 11 am to 7 pm, would also have the presence of banks to facilitate student loan services. Seminars and counselling would be among the highlights of the programme.
This year�s Edufair has Oil India Limited as the title sponsor, while Manav Rachna International University, New Delhi is the associate sponsor.
Entry to the event is free, the organisers added.
