GUWAHATI, Jan 31 � In another step towards meeting modern-day readers� needs, the premier and oldest daily in the North-east, The Assam Tribune, is launching its e-paper version from tomorrow. The present online edition of the newspaper will continue to be available, albeit in a somewhat different format.
Making a humble beginning on January 1, 1999, the online edition of the newspaper has made giant strides to record on an average over 1.50 lakh hits per day. While initially the readers of its online edition mainly comprised people in the US, UK and UAE, the present majorly enhanced readership base includes mainly those in India.
