GUWAHATI, Jan 14 � Assam will take part in the 67th Inter State and 76th Senior National Badminton Championship to be held at Bangalore from January 17 to 25.
The team was announced by the Assam Badminton Association today and the team will proceed to Bangalore on January 15.
In the men�s category, the State team will be represented by Hirak Jyoti Neog (capt), Anjan Buragohain, Nikhilesh Sarma, Anshuman Hazarika, Ankurmaan Gogoi, Dibyajyoti Bora and Anirban Chetia. Ranjan Buragohain will play in the open event.
The women team comprises of Kaberi Phukan, Rituparna Kalita, Mridushmita Phukan and Kristi Das. On the other hand, Moumita Talukdar, Bibari Basumatary, Sashmita Borah and Enajori Medhi will take part in the open event.
