GUWAHATI, Feb 5 � Assam boys� and girls� teams cruised into the last-eight stage of the U-14 60th National School Games Football Tournament.
In the boys� section Assam topped the group C with six points while the girls� team today thrashed Madhya Pradesh 11-0 to top the group C with nine points.
The teams qualified for the quarterfinal stage are: (Girls) Manipur, Meghalaya (gr A), West Bengal, Gujrat (gr B), Assam, Chattishgarh (gr C), Haryana, Maharashtra (gr D). (Boys) West Bengal (gr A), Manipur (gr B), Assam (gr C), Mizoram (gr D), Uttarakhand (gr E), Rajasthan (gr F), Punjab (gr G), Haryana (gr H).
