GUWAHATI, May 23 - A four-member Assam team will take part in the 30th�National U-17 Open and Girls Chess Championships to be held at Ernakulam, Kerala. The championship is being organised by Kerala Chess Association on behalf of All India Chess Federation from June 29�to July 7.

The selected players are � Manthan Kashyap Datta, Gouranga Sonowal, Anoushka Priyam, Harshita Bharadwaj. The players have been selected on the basis of their performances in the 42nd�All Assam Inter District Chess Championship (U-17) held in Guwahati from May 17�to 19, stated a release.

The selected players have to contact Madhab Sarma, treasurer of the All Assam Chess Association on or before�May 30.
