GUWAHATI, March 18 � The 60 th annual technical session of the Assam Science Society will be held at the Jorhat campus of the Assam Agricultural University (AAU) on March 21,
AAU Vice Chancellor Dr KM Bujarbarua will inaugurate the session. The inaugural session will be addressed by noted environmentalist Chandi Prasad Bhat as the distinguished guest.
A national level seminar has also been organised in connection with the session on the topic of �Harnessing Science for Societal Development.� The seminar is divided into five sections � physics, chemistry, zoology, social science and interdisciplinary science. Scientists of these sections from across the country will present their papers.
