GUWAHATI, Nov 21 - A 10-member Assam team will participate in the 65th National School Games Chess (U-17) which will be held in Kolkata from November 21 to 25.
The players are selected on the basis of their performances in the selection trial organized by Guwahati Chess Academy under the aegis of Directorate of Sports Assam at Guwahati Chess Academy premises.
Sujaul Islam Hazarika is accompanying the team as manager.
Selected players: (U-17 boys) Shahil Dey, Manthan Kashyap Datta, Nihad Islam Hazarika, Dhrupad Kashyap, Achitanga Kashyap; (U-17 girls) Anchita Sharma, Medha Barooah, Dipnalisha Borah, Urja Hazarika, Baibhabi Baruah.
