IMPHAL, March 19 - The Assam Rifles archery team attached with 9 Sector Assam Rifles comprising of eight men and four women archers represented Manipur in the 39th NTPC Senior National Archery Championship held at Cuttack, Odisha from March 9 to 18.
The team won eight medals in both individual as well as team events including one gold, three silver and four bronze medals.
Rifleman N Subhachandra won bronze medal in Recurve Round men�s team event while Rifleman G Robert Sharma won bronze medal in Compound Round men�s team event. Rifleman Z Demo won two silver medals in 30 metres individual and mixed team event of Indian Round. Rifleman Isak Lalchouoilove won bronze medal in mixed team event of Indian Round while Rifleman SP Lidya won gold medal in 30 metres individual and bronze medal in mixed team event of Indian Round. Rifleman Kumari Sapna won silver medal in women team event of Indian Round.
