GUWAHATI, June 22 - Assam won three medals, two silver and one bronze in the Junior National Powerlifting Championship held at Alappuzha, Kerala from June 17 to 20.
Anupam Sarma has qualified as category one national referee after appearing examination held during the championship, stated a release.
Results: (Jr woman, 43kg) Anamika Kalita (silver in dead lift), (63kg) Lucky Ahmed (bronze), (jr man, 74kg) Lakhindra Baruah (silver in dead lift).
