GUWAHATI, Aug 20 - Assam posted eight-wicket victory against Kerala in the Buchi Babu Invitational Cricket Tournament, organised by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association.
On the final day of the two-day match played at the IC Gurunanak, Chennai, Assam made a brilliant chase and scored 352 for the loss of two wickets in 67.4 overs in reply to Kerala�s 349 all out in the stipulated 90 overs.
The highlight of the Assam innings was cracking centuries by opener Pallab Kumar Das, 156 (189 balls, 4x16, 6x5) and Gokul Sharma n.o 145 (173 balls, 4x17, 6x5).
