GUWAHATI, Dec 9 - Assam recorded a four-wicket victory against Odisha in the U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy Cricket Tournament at Dibrugarh.
On the final day of the three-day match today, requiring 117 for an outright victory, after taking a thin seven-run first innings lead, Assam scored 119 for 6 in 42.1 Overs.
Rituraj Biswas (5/27) and Bibhakar Nag (3/21) wrecked the Odisha second innings as Kshyamasagar Bal (36) and Swastik Samal (23) were their leading scorers.
For Assam, Sambhav Jain (41) and Amlanjyoti Das (30) remained main contributors.
