Assam players bag doubles titles

JORHAT, Sept 13 - Shakshi Baruah and Tanishqa Patar of Assam won the girls U-16 doubles title in the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament defeating the duo of Justina Borgohain and Harshita Borah 6-3, 4-6, 10-3 in the all Assam final at the Jorhat Tennis Club here today.

In the boys U-16 doubles final, Promit Bordoloi of Assam and Ashish Parida of Odisha defeated Arunesh Bora and Andy Thaosen of Assam 6-1, 7-6 (5).

The boys and girls singles finals will be played tomorrow.
