GUWAHATI, Oct 14 - Assam will play its season�s third Ranji Trophy match of Group A against Orissa at Cuttack from tomorrow.
Assam are at the top of the table with 10 points from two home matches while Orissa at the seventh position with two drawn matches against Vidarbha and Maharashtra respectively.
It will be Assam�s first away match this season as in the home matches they grabbed three points from last two year�s champions Karnataka and seven points against Rajasthan.
Assam captain Gokul Sharma informed that all the players are fit and fine and hoped to continue their winning run.
Assam will play its 49th Ranji Trophy match against Orissa.

The first ever Ranji Trophy match against Orissa was played from December 15 to 18, 1951 at Jubilee Field Ground, Nowgaon (Now Nurul Amin Stadium, Nagaon). It was a Landmark match for Orissa as they have started playing Ranji Trophy from that season 1951-52, where as for Assam it was 3rd Ranji
season.
