GUWAHATI, Oct 21 - Assam won 13 medals, including six gold in the WAKO India�s National Federation Cup Kickboxing Championship (boys and girls) which was held at Maharana Pratap Sports College, Raipur, Dehradun, Uttarakhand from October, 17 to 20.
The gold medal winners were: Jinti Rajbongshi, Richa Mazumdar, Purnima Boro, Barnali Boro, Danswrang Narzary and Sabnam Aktara while Shattrujit Kakoti and Nibir Deka clinched silver medals. Alauddin Khan, Jinti Rajbongshi, Chubungsa Basumatary, Sansuma Boro and Sontosh Daimary were the bronze medals winner in the championship. The team was led by Amrit Choudhury and Jayanta Sarma, both are members of technical council of Assam Kickboxing Association (AKA), stated a release.
The release further stated that AKA will conduct the technical council body meeting on October 30 for SGFI�s All India School Games and AIU�s All India Inter University Games.
