Assam karatekas in Indian team

GUWAHATI, May 20 - After the selection of Jyotirsman Kashyap in Indian team for the World School Games Karate Championship, three more sub-junior players of Assam have been selected for the Indian karate team for the World Karate Federation�s (WKF) Youth Cup Karate Championship and Camp to be held at Umang, Croatia from June 26 to July 2.

Hemphu Bongjang, Saurav Kumar Gogoi and Sarhan Rasul will take part in the international karate event.

UKAA secretary Nagen Bongjang and coach Sunil Gogoi will accompany the Indian team, stated a release.
