GUWAHATI, June 17 - The Assam team has secured best team with total of 131 medals � 44 gold, 43 silver and 94 bronze in the All India Seikokai Karate Championship which concluded on Sunday at DTRP Indoor Stadium, RG Baruah Sports Complex here.
Arunachal Pradesh were the second best team with total of 73 medals � 22 gold, 25 silver and 26 bronze, while, Delhi team become third with 6 gold in medal tally.
The championship was inaugurated by Bharat Sharma, senior vice president of Karate Association of India and chief instructor of Seikokai Karate, India in presence of KAI joint secretary C Dosavunga, treasurer Premjit Sen and Dr Hitesh Baruah, managing director of Nemcare Hospital.
