GUWAHATI, Aug 13 - Assam karatekas bagged a total of 37 medals, including 10 gold, 11 silver and 16 bronze medals at the recently concluded 2nd International Open Karate Championship held at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium at Kolkata.
Altogether 33 karatekas from the All Assam Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Association took part in the championship, stated a release.
