GUWAHATI, Dec 30 � Assam are in deep trouble as the team was bowled out for 218 in 100.2 overs against Himachal Pradesh in their Ranji Trophy Group C match at Barsapara stadium here today. Assam were 18 for no loss when stumps were drawn yesterday. Pallav Das and Dheeraj Jadhav were batting with three and five respectively. For Himachal, Karanveer Singh took 3 wickets for 28 and pacer VS Malik scalpped 2 just for 9 runs. Now, Assam have to fight hard to stay in contention at the points table.
