GUWAHATI, Sept 13 - Assam girls won four gold medals in the ongoing Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship in South Africa.
On the third day of the championship yesterday, all the four girls from Assam performed creditably to clinch the yellow metals.
Minu Gogoi (47kg), Minati Dihingia (52kg), Arannanee Gogoi (63kg) and Mousumi Bora (above 84kg) were the champions in the international event, stated a release of Assam Powerlifting Association.
