GUWAHATI, Sept 20 - Assam made a winning start in the East Zone Women�s U-19 Cricket Tournament.
At the Tata Digwadih Stadium, Dhanbad today, Assam girls recorded a 26-run victory against Tripura.
Batting first Assam scored 143 with one ball to spare in the 50-over match. Ruhina Pegu top scored with 30.
In reply Tripura were restricted to 117 for nine.
