GUWAHATI, Sept 23 - Altogether seven fencers of Assam have ben picked to represent the 48-member Indian team in the Thailand Open Fencing Championship, organised by the Thailand Fencing Federation at Bangkok from September 25 to 30, informed Assam Fencing Association secretary Bipul Sarma.
They will participate in the Foil, Epe and Sabre events.
The selected Assam players are-Biswajit Meitei, Anirban Banerjee, Sanglion Owang, Abi Gohain, Ramen Singha, Bem Bem Devi, Chanchal Singha.
