GUWAHATI, June 1 - Two fencers from Assam, Kabita Devi and Rakesh Rai have been included in the Indian team which will take part in the Senior Asian Fencing Championship to be held in Hong Kong from June 15 to 20.
Both the fencers were selected for the national team based on their performance in the Senior National Fencing Championship which was held in Raipur from January 11 to 14.
Now both the players are undergoing training at the national camp in Patiala.
Kabita will participate in Epee category while Rakesh will contest in Foil, informed Assam Fencing Association secretary Bipul Kumar Sarma.
