GUWAHATI, Nov 14 - Assam handed Mizoram nine-wicket drubbing in a Group D match of the Syed Mustaq Ali T 20 Tournament at the Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai today.
Mizoram were bundled for paltry 66 in 17.1 overs and in reply Assam took six overs to cross the opponents� total losing opener Pallav Kumar Das who contributed 37.
Abu Nechim Ahmed took three Mizo wickets giving away three runs while Riyan Parag bagged two for 11. Sarupam Purkayastha remained unbeaten on 27.
