Assam cop donates Rs 50,000 for Ram Temple construction

In a noble gesture to strengthen the brethren spirit, Officer in-charge of Dholai police station in Assam's Cachar district Sahab Uddin Barbhuiya has stepped up along with his family and made a contribution of Rs 50,000 towards the Nidhi Daan meant for the construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.
Barbhuiya, who feels that the mandir which would be constructed with people's contributions is a matter of great pride for every Indian and sharing the sentiments along with wife Nazira Hayder who is the GP president of Dholaimolai GP under Katlichora constituency in Hailakandi and two daughters reached the Sangh office at Narsinghpur in Cachar district and extended the donation.
"I am feeling overwhelmed and proud to be able to make a small contribution towards this major task for the country. I can feel the belongingness and we want that our daughters share the same sentiments of being able to contribute worth one brick for the Ram temple," Barbhuiya told The Assam Tribune.
The OC informed that of the total contribution, Rs 10,000 is on behalf of his daughters and he has kept the receipts of the donation laminated for his daughters and the family is looking forward to visit the temple once it is completed.
The Hindu Jagaran Manch has lauded the efforts initiated by the Dholai OC and his family.
