GUWAHATI, March 8 - The 20th Assam Club Championship will kick start at Dhemaji and Dimow respectively from March 22 under the aegis of the Dhemaji District Sports Association and guidance of the Assam Football Association.
Altogether 29 teams will vie for the title in the knock-out tournament which will be played in two groups at Dhemaji (Group A) and Dimow (Group B).
Diamond Club of Charaideo will take on Nakari Club of Lakhimpur in the inaugural match at Dimow.
The participating teams are: (Group A) Barbheta SC (Jorhat), Umited Club (B Chariali), Barekuri CC (Tinsukia), Bokakhat TE SC (Bokakhat), Titabor team (Titabor), Khoirabari RSC (Bhergaon), Gargaon FC (Nazira), Ghagrapar AKS (Nalbari), Dhemaji team (Dhemaji), Uday Club (Kaliabor), Karbi Anglong FC (Karbi Anglong), Rangia TC (Rangia), Bhurbandha ANKS (Morigaon), Tarapur AC (Silchar).
