GUWAHATI, Feb 6 � Assam boys� team entered the final of the U-14 60th National School Games Football Tournament defeating Punjab 7-0 in the second semifinal at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Sarusajai here this evening.

Rohan Chetry netted three goals while Bishnu Bordoloi struck twice. Adarsh Roy Das and Buhum Basumatary scored one goal each. Now Assam will play against Mizoram in the final, which trounced Haryana 5-0 in the first semifinal.

However, Assam girls� team went down to Meghalaya 1-2 in the quarterfinal this morning.

In the girls� category Manipur will play against Meghalaya in the final. Manipur defeated West Bengal 2-1 while Meghalaya downed Haryana 2-0. Both the finals are slated for tomorrow afternoon at the Sarusajai stadium.
