GUWAHATI, April 1 - Assam won 11 medals in the 15th Sub Junior National Wushu Championship held at Haridwar, Uttarakhand from March 27 to 31. Assam clinched two gold, four silver and five bronze medals in the championship. The Team was lead by Bishal Baruah as coach and Ratul Saikia as manager, stated a release.

The medals winner are: In the Taolu (Routine ) event-Lopamudra Gohain Dev (gold in Chanquan and bronze in Jianshu), Jyotirmann Borah (silver in Daoshu and Gunshu), Hiranyamoie Kachari (silver in Daoshu), Premontika Basak (bronze in quanshu), Dhiraj Gogoi (bronze in Taichijian), Ahiron Borah (bronze in Taichiquan), Bedarshi Baruah (bronze in nanquan).

In the San-Shou (Free Fighting ) event-Susmita Das (gold in U-24kg), Karabi Rajbongshi (silver in U-28kg).
