GUWAHATI, Aug 9 - Assam won one gold and two silver medals in the 13th Fed Cup Junior National athletics Championship held at Hyderabad from August 7 to 9.
Informing this , the Assam athletic body official Nipon Das said, Virandra Pal won gold in 1000m while Bipin Kr Patel (5000m) and Laimwn Narzary (high jump, 1.65 m) bagged silver medals.
Pradip Nunisa, secretary of the Assam Athletic Association congratulated the athletes for their medal winning performance.
