GUWAHATI, Oct 24 - BJP MLA from Dhekiajuli Ashok Singhal today took charge as the new Chairman of the Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA).
Promising to make Guwahati a happy city, Singhal said that within the next 15 days he will formulate a comprehensive 100-day working plan for the GMDA. He also promised to provide land patta to the indigenous landless people residing within the city and give a momentum to all the ongoing projects under the GMDA.
