SIVASAGAR, April 24 - ASEB, Guwahati defeated ONGC, Assam Asset 3-0 in the final of 14th All Assam Veteran Inter Industry Football Tournament played here at ongc colony field, here today.
Pabitra Langsung opened the account in the 10th minute while Jitu Narzary struck twice after the break. Jitu was adjudged best player of the final. In the valedictory function, Budhin Deori, ED, ongc, international footballer Tosen Borah, Ramesh Phukan, secretary AVFA gave away the trophies and cash awards of Rs 10,000 to the winners and Rs 5,000 to the runner up team respectively.
