DULIAJAN, March 30 � ASEB FC, Guwahati, have made it to the final of the 7th OIL Challenge Gold Cup Football Tournament here at Nehru Maiden by edging past Green Valley SC, Guwahati, 1-0 in the second semifinal match today.
Players from both the teams played neck-to-neck and the match remained goalless till the first session. Mendila Rongme of ASEB FC broke the monotony by finding the back of the net in the 65th minute.
Green Valley�s Louisnigi Ebami, Salanurudden Olawale, Y Bubu Singh, and ASEB�s Dipankar Sarkar were cautioned and Tridip Hazarika of ASEB was sent off for rough play by referee Debasish Mazumdar.
In the final, ASEB FC, will clash with host OIL FC on Sunday.
